Job description
We’re looking for a motivated ###Trade Assistant### to join an awesome international engineering company on a ###Monday to Friday, 6:30am–2:00pm### day shift.
This is a ###temporary role with the potential to become permanent### for the right person. Pay rate is ###$26–$28 per hour depending on experience###.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operating equipment as trained (including drill press, laser engraver, manual machines, lathes, machining centres, press, grinding, washing & polishing equipment)
- Assembling and testing components, equipment, and systems
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and machinery to support ongoing production
- Supporting general workshop duties as required
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in manufacturing or machine operation
- Confidence working with machinery and production equipment
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting (steel components)
- Strong work ethic with good reliability and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety procedures
- Full NZ working rights (citizen or permanent resident)
- Available full-time, Monday to Friday
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills
