Electrician Apprentice

We are seeking a final year Electrician Apprentice to join a large, baking ingredient manufacturer in Auckland. You will be working as part of the engineering team in a production plant with food processing machines.

This is a rare opportunity to develop skills and experience in industrial equipment and automation, while learning best practices in maintenance, manufacturing and engineering.

You will be learning from a couple of senior staff who are retiring, by which you will take over their roles once you're qualified. Industrial maintenance electricians are among some of the highest paid electrical roles in NZ.

Ideally, we are looking for apprentices who have done a mix of different jobs in in commercial, residential and industrial, if not strictly industrial. You will need to be in the final year or just about to begin the final year of your apprenticeship.

You must be comfortable with working with strict health and safety and food hygiene protocols.

A can-do attitude, willingness to learn and be respectful team member will be the keys to succeed in this role.
