Our client is a long-established and highly respected legal practice with an outstanding reputation for delivering trusted legal advice across the local community. Due to continued growth, they're seeking an experienced Legal Executive to join their busy and friendly, down-to-earth team.

About the Firm

This is a close-knit, medium-sized legal practice where relationships come first. The team works collaboratively, supports one another and prides itself on providing exceptional service to generations of loyal clients throughout the Bay of Plenty, many generational customers. The Role

You'll work across a broad range of property-related matters while managing your own files and building strong, long-term relationships with clients.

Your work will include:

  • Working alongside and supporting the Solicitors across all matters
  • Residential and commercial conveyancing, Property transactions.
  • Trusts and estate administration.
  • Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney.
  • General property and private client matters.
  • Assisting clients through each stage of the legal process with confidence and professionalism.

To be successful you'll bring:

  • A recognised New Zealand Legal Executive qualification.
  • Proven experience within a New Zealand legal practice.
  • Strong experience across property and conveyancing.
  • A sound understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) obligations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • A friendly, approachable and professional manner.
  • strong work history of reliability
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
