Mechanical Design Engineer (SolidWorks & AutoCAD)

Mechanical Design Engineer with SolidWorks & AutoCAD experience for a well paid $100 - $130K Hamilton office based design role, for a highly reputable and growing Engineering firm in Hamilton.

Immediate start is available for this well paid, well-supported and very interesting Mechanical Design Engineer role for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer who is highly competent with SolidWorks & AutoCAD..

Experience with producing a variety of one-off, bespoke Mechanical designs for stainless steel products to be milled, turned, fabricated and fitted is advantageous.

Our client is a very well-established and highly reputable jobbing workshop who is renowned for its ability to produce one-off components and full machines in stainless steel for a range of clients in New Zealand and Internationally.

They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer who can think on their feet, solve any problems, and produce accurate designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Your skills & ideal experience sought being a Mechanical Design Engineer are:

• You will have 5 or more years of applicable Mechanical Design Engineer experience.
• A diploma, or degree, or time served experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
• You will be adept at using SolidWorks & AutoCAD for a range of mechanical design work.
• You will be very accustomed to producing highly accurate mechanical designs for mostly stainless steel components & stainless steel machines, augers, mixing paddles, bins & hoppers.
• You will ideally have experience from the food & beverage industries or from other more industrial applications, that all require the design of stainless steel components & machines.
• You will have a problem-solving aptitude, a can-do & will-do, collaborative & positive attitude to achieve great results
